The Great Spring Clean:

 Eco-Friendly Tips for Your Home

The days are longer, the sun’s peeking out, and suddenly, it feels like the perfect time to freshen up your space. But here’s the thing. A good spring clean doesn’t have to be hard on your hands or the environment.

With a few simple swaps, you can get your home sparkling while keeping things gentle on the planet and your hands.

Sustainability starts at home. From biodegradable cleaning products to refillable essentials, we’ve got everything you need to tackle your spring cleaning the eco-friendly way.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Hacks

Forget harsh chemicals—natural, biodegradable ingredients are just as effective and much kinder to the earth. Here are some easy tips to get you started:

1. Banish Limescale with Vinegar and Lemon.

Hard water marks on taps or kettles? Soak a cloth in white vinegar, wrap it around the affected area, and leave for 30 minutes.

Wipe clean and add a squeeze of lemon for a fresh scent. And for your kettle, add citric acid to a full kettle of water, pour out the contents and watch your kettle sparkle.

2. All-Purpose Cleaner from Your Pantry

Mix 2 cups of water, 1 cup of white vinegar, and a few drops of essential oil (like lavender or tea tree) in a spray bottle. Use it on countertops, glass, or even as a floor cleaner.

3. Baking Soda for Stains and Odors

Got a stubborn stain or a smelly fridge? Sprinkle baking soda on the offending spot, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then wipe or vacuum away.

4. Reusable Cloths Over Paper Towels
Cut up old t-shirts or towels to use as cleaning rags. They’re washable, long-lasting, and zero waste.
